Water Conservation Through Solar Energy

Did you know that when burning fossil fuels, the power industry consumes a lot of our fresh water? Solar and wind power consume none at all.

One reason I started working in solar energy was to protect water resources. In 2007, as a commercial REALTOR specializing in land and water rights, I listed rights older than the state of Colorado. Some buyers would have dried up that land and sold the water to the power industry.

In 2008 I moved to clean energy so that every new customer is protecting our resources. Let's work together to make our state better and healthier.

Here’s a picture of the 75,000 acre-foot capacity of the Reuter-Hess Reservoir, currently about 38% full. The arid west never has enough water. Let’s protect our scarce resources by going solar!
